Mostostal: 140 MW Boiler for Katowice District Heating
Mostostal Warszawa is strengthening Poland’s district heating network with a new turnkey facility in Katowice for one of the country’s largest heat providers. To support reliable, low-emission energy for 250,000 households, Cannon Bono will supply a high-efficiency 140 MWt Clajtub (CTH) water tube boiler equipped with advanced combustion and control technology.

Mostostal Warszawa is a Polish construction and manufacturing company, managing industrial plants, assembling metal structures and equipment, and renovating machinery and technological equipment.
The challenge
Mostostal Warszawa is constructing a turnkey district heating facility for a power plant investor located in Katowice, Poland.
The investor is one of the largest companies in Poland offering heat generation and distribution, supplying 250,000 households, or about 800,000 residents, and is the principal provider of municipal district heating in the Silesian-Dąbrowa agglomeration.
The solution
We will supply a Clajtub (CTH series) 140- megawatt (MWt) water tube boiler for the district heating facility.
Cannon Bono’s innovative water tube boilers for peak loads, provide thermal and combustion efficiency of 95-96%, achieved using a high-performing burner system with advanced combustion and emission control and monitoring system.
