Electric Thermal Oil Heaters e-OMV series

The ideal solution for companies undergoing the energy transition or for those that, due to their location, must comply with strict emission limits set by local regulations.
Unlike conventional heaters that burn fossil fuels, industrial electric boilers use a system of resistances to generate energy without combustion, and therefore without emissions, meeting regulatory requirements and corporate sustainability policies.

Technology

Thermal oil electric heaters are equipped with electric resistances, configured according to the specific operational and process requirements. The resistances operate at voltages between 360 and 640 V and are particularly suitable for plants with power below 5 MW.

We have developed a versatile and modular solution: all sizes are composed by adjacent communicating pipes, each containing one resistor, within which the thermal fluid travels sequentially. The number of pipes (and therefore resistors) depends on the heater size, and the spatial configuration of the pipes may be easily adapted on request based on the requirements of the client.

This solution, with a simple yet robust design, ensures high efficiency and reliability, easily adapting to various industrial contexts.

Thanks to the proven technology and ease of use, thermal oil electric heaters with resistances are a safe and sustainable option, ideal for companies looking to reduce environmental impact while ensuring continuity in their production processes.

Compatible Products

Skid Pump

The Skid Pump consists of one or two oil circulation pumps and an integrated control system within the electrical panel. This component is essential to ensure correct oil circulation inside the thermal oil boiler and throughout the system. Pumps must be carefully sized in terms of flow and head to guarantee optimal fluid velocity in the circuit, avoiding inefficiencies or malfunctions.

Expansion Tank

The expansion tank is designed to absorb the thermal oil’s volumetric expansion due to heating. A properly sized tank protects the circuit from overpressure, ensuring safety and reliability of the entire heating system.

Thermal Oil Storage Tank

The storage tank is where thermal oil is kept when the system is drained for maintenance or other operations. It keeps the fluid protected and ready for the next plant start-up.

Evaporator

The evaporator, or indirect steam generator, converts heat from the thermal oil heater into energy in the form of steam. Inside a coil, the hot oil transfers energy to the water, which turns into high-quality steam, ensuring efficiency and operational continuity.
