Electricité de France (EDF): CT & CTH Boilers for global power plants

Cannon Bono supplied Electricité de France (EDF) with highly customized CT and CTH boilers designed for maximum efficiency, rapid start-up, and reliable steam production across its global fleet of power plants.

Electricité de France (EDF): the client

Electricité de France (EDF) is one of Europe’s largest and most influential utility providers, operating an extensive network of power plants in France and worldwide. Known for its commitment to energy reliability and technological excellence, EDF requires robust and flexible systems capable of supporting diverse operational needs.

The challenge

For its plants, EDF looked for robust and flexible auxiliary boilers that could also supply partially superheated steam for natural gas processing, as necessary.

The solution

Based on the specific requirements of plants located in different parts of the world (France, UK and Vietnam), we supplied EDF with 8 highly customized CT series water tube steam generators.

All the supplied boilers were designed to not only meet the requirements of each individual plant, but to also ensure maximum reliability and speed of start-up, reaching full capacity in a very short time.

As an additional benefit, the heat exchange system was designed and optimized according to the required characteristics, guaranteeing high thermal efficiency, high flexibility and reduced emissions.
