Lanificio Fratelli Piacenza is a historic leader in creating the highest quality fabrics and clothing, firmly committed to integrating sustainability into an ambitious plan to reduce its environmental impact.
The challenge
Lanificio Fratelli Piacenza needed to replace three old boilers to align itself with the 2030 Agenda’s SDGs — the international sustainability goals established by the UN.
For the Piacenza Group, the issues of energy conservation and pollutant reduction are key, and were included as a top priority in the company’s Sustainability Report.
The solution
To replace the old boilers, we supplied two new SG series steam generators, characterized by high thermal efficiency and reduced atmospheric pollutant emissions.
They are equipped with combustion systems, modulating burners, and control and safety systems that reduce fuel consumption.
The OptiSpark F3 control system allows instant and accurate remote control over the machines during operation. The steam generators are equipped with the HE Smart high-efficiency heat recovery system, developed and patented by Cannon Bono, with technology that minimizes consumption at any operating speed, making steam production more stable based on the needs of the production process.
