As a leader in industrial thermal solutions, we offer cutting-edge technologies to meet companies’ needs for efficiency, sustainability, and reliability. Our commitment translates into developing integrated systems that maximize available resources, optimize processes, and reduce environmental impact.
The chemical industry, one of the most energy-intensive sectors globally, generates a wide range of process waste, often in the form of residual heat or energy by-products such as hydrogen and biogas. We addresses these challenges with tailored solutions designed to recover and use these resources, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting a more sustainable production cycle.
Heat pumps and electric boilers: the transition to clean energy
One of the most recent developments is the introduction of industrial heat pumps. This project aims at replacing or integrating traditional fossil fuel systems by harnessing waste heat to enhance the thermal efficiency of production processes. Heat pumps enable customers to:
- Achieve energy self-consumption and carbon neutrality goals
- Significantly reduce primary energy consumption
- Contribute to the energy transition by cutting greenhouse gas emissions
This technology represents a crucial step toward decarbonizing the industrial sector, aligning with European policies for environmental sustainability.
At a production site in Switzerland owned by an Italian multinational, we installed an innovative system that optimizes production processes with a focus on sustainability by combining a natural gas-fired steam generator with an electric steam generator. This configuration allows for synergistic management of the two generators, dynamically balancing steam demand according to operational needs.
The strategy is based on intelligent resource use, leveraging the system’s flexibility to adapt to variations in thermal and electrical energy costs during different time slots. This approach not only reduces overall consumption but also achieves significant cost savings, improves energy efficiency, and lowers environmental impact.
This example demonstrates how integrated solutions can help companies combine reliability, sustainability, and efficiency, promoting a more responsible and future-oriented industrial model.

Biomass and biogas solutions: renewable energy for industry
Our biomass boilers convert organic residues and agro-industrial waste into thermal energy and steam. This technology is particularly suitable for industries that can close the energy loop by utilizing locally available resources.
Biogas boilers offer a sustainable alternative for harnessing methane gas produced through anaerobic digestion processes, reducing emissions and generating clean energy. Thanks to high-efficiency systems, they meet and exceed the increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Integrated technologies allow for extremely low emission levels, with NOx < 60 mg/Nm³ and CO < 40 mg/Nm³ (at 3% oxygen reference).
The solution for analyzing generated gases is called AMEC (Boiler Emissions Monitoring and Analysis), and can be integrated into the OptiSpark control and management platform. This system monitors, records, and calculates average emissions over time, ensuring compliance with D.Lgs. 152/06 and D.Lgs. 183/17 requirements.
Applicable to all boilers, this advanced technology helps protect the environment and reduce consumption, making the transition to sustainable energy solutions easier and more accessible. Additionally, with its cloud-based application, AMEC provides an innovative tool for continuous emission monitoring.

Hydrogen: the fuel of the future
Our expertise extends to hydrogen-powered boilers, a key resource for the global energy transition. One significant example is a project developed for a leading company involved in producing lithium battery solvents. The synthesis process of N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP) generates large amounts of hydrogen as a byproduct. By integrating boilers with a Burner Management System (BMS), it is possible to:
- Use hydrogen as the primary fuel, reducing natural gas consumption
- Ensure operational flexibility by managing any hydrogen-methane ratio
- Improve energy efficiency and cut CO₂ emissions
This solution gives value to a previously unused byproduct, reducing operating costs and enhancing the overall sustainability of the plant.
We look to the future with an integrated approach, combining established technologies with pioneering innovations. From biomass boilers to hydrogen systems, heat pumps, and electric boilers, our goal is to support industries in their journey toward greater sustainability and higher energy efficiency. Every project is a unique challenge, tackled with technical expertise, creativity, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
